Story: I was born in Akron, Ohio during the blizzard of '78. Which may explain my mortal hatred of precipitation, and/or Akron, Ohio. Raised in the rural confines of Northeastern OH, but fortunately my parents are book-learnin' types, so I grew up enjoying the nature of the Heartland without becoming a redneck.

School went well. I walked the diplomatically delicate razor's edge of social life, and emerged with many good, kind friends. And if there's one vital thing that organized education has taught me, it is an inherent mistrust of organized education.

Not that I'm complaining.
